Setting Up RealPage Check Scanning
Below is a step-by-step guide on how to install the check scanner software on your computer.
***IMPORTANT***
This must be completed by EVERY USER that needs to scan checks, as the permissions are tied to your personal Yubi Key, not the computer itself.
STEP 1
Once you are logged into your computer with your Yubi Key, you will open up your files and navigate to your OneDrive folder.

STEP 2
Click on the RealPage Scanning folder inside your OneDrive folder.

Step 3
Now double-click on the launcher file pictured below.

Step 4
The dialog box below will pop up. You will then click on "Next" 3 times.

Step 5
You will now open up the Microsoft Edge browser.
*NOTE: This process ONLY works in Microsoft Edge. If you use Google Chrome or Firefox, you will not be able to continue.
Step 6
Login to your personal RealPage account.

Step 7
Navigate to the OneSite section on your homepage.

Step 8
Click on "Payments" in the left side menu, and then click on "+New".

Step 9
You will then see a dialog box pop up. Select "Always allow" and click on Open.

Step 10
Click on "Run" when you see the box below pop up.

Step 11
The next pop-up is a warning from Windows. Windows does not know that this is a legitimate software and is trying to "protect" you from it. To tell Windows that this is a safe and legitimate file, you will need to click on "More info" - and then "Run anyway".

Step 12 - Last One!
Your check scanner software is now installed under your specific user profile. Again - if there are multiple users at your property that need to scan checks, every single one of them will need to complete this process on the computer that has the check scanner.
You will now automatically see the OnePay software pop up! To test to see if it was installed correctly, you will need to click on Start.
If it is successful, you will hear the check scanner turn on. If your check scanner DOES NOT turn on when Start is pressed, please make a note on your existing check scanner IT ticket for further troubleshooting.
